As a professional organization of well-trained and effective educators in all components of the learning spectrum, the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. (NSPDK) is dedicated to training youth and adults to develop and enhance those skills, abilities, attitudes, and ethics that will prepare them to function successfully in a democratic society. Education is the vehicle by which they can pursue their dreams, discover new vistas, seek self-actualization, and achieve extraordinary accomplishments.
Throughout its existence the Sorority has addressed cogent educational issues through a myriad of programs designed to improve education and offer opportunity to scores of children, youth, and adults. NSPDK has sponsored initiatives to assist beginner teachers, advance good health, promote academic achievement, award scholarships, and preserve African American history.
We are poised to accept the educational challenges of the 21st century and to launch programs to enhance the educational enterprise.
